Ladies Day on the Ranch @ Double J Stables

If you’re jealous of the Double J Stables Kids Camps, then “Ladies Day on the Ranch” is JUST for you! Ladies need to be 18 years or older and be under our weight limit of 250 pounds. We will take 6 ladies for the day on Saturday, September 19th from 9am-5pm. Participants will enjoy a full day of learning about proper horse care and basic horseback riding with our horses. Each lady will be assigned a trail horse and will be responsible for that horse for the day, learning how to care for, and feed and water your horse. You will also learn how to tack up your horse for our ride of approximately 4-5 hours with a lunch break in the park, so be sure to bring a sack lunch and drinks. Back at the barn you will untack your horse and turn them out then help clean the barn. At the end of the day, enjoy hamburgers over a campfire with potato salad and chips supplied by Double J Stables. The fee is $150 per person. ***Non refundable.
