Caveland Marketing Association (CMA) is comprised of attractions, lodging, dining, retail, and tourism-related businesses located in Hart, Barren, and Edmonson Counties.
The mission of the CMA Board of Directors is to promote the tri-county area around Mammoth Cave National Park as tourist destination and encourage use of lodging, dining, retail, fuel, and tourism activities in the area.

Brownsville, the county seat of Edmonson County, is located in the valley and banks of the Green River and awarded Trail Town status in 2019. Mammoth Cave’s backcountry, and its miles of equine, mountain biking, and hiking trails are Brownsville’s backyard.
To earn certification of a Kentucky Trail Town, destinations must make a commitment to share their area’s outdoor opportunities, culture, history, and stories to visitors hungry for adventure.
The Green & Nolin Rivers Blueway, the first designated National Water Trail in Kentucky is located predominantly within Mammoth Cave National Park and Edmonson County, including the Nolin Lake Tailwater.
This navigable waterway spans 36 miles and offers an astounding ecological significance, gentle waters, and an abundance of wildlife. A trip down the Blueway is good for the soul.
Designated in 2019, the Cave Country Bike Route connects USBR 76 to the Tennessee border, through Kentucky’s Cave Region. The 109-mile (175.4 km) route takes riders through Mammoth Cave National Park and connects to small towns and historic sites.
USBR 23 brings riders straight into the park, allowing cyclists to easily access unpaved routes.
Walking right off the pages of renowned naturalist, explorer, and writer John Muir’s travelogue and nature journal, A Thousand-Mile Walk to the Gulf, this trail expands a love and appreciation for the outdoors by highlighting and elevating Muir’s footsteps on his journey by celebrating the beauty and history of our region while ensuring the accuracy of Muir’s historic path.
By encouraging physical activity and fostering a deep connection to the unique natural landscapes of Kentucky, this trail honors and upholds Muir’s legacy of exploration, appreciation, and conservation.
This trail development and branding was spearheaded by the Cave Country Trail organization and adopted in 2026.
