SUMMARY:2024 Sheltowee Trail Ride - Mammoth Cave Horse Camp
DESCRIPTION:The Sheltowee Trail Ride is a week-long\, fully catered ride with some of the friendliest folks you’ll ever meet. Riders return year after year from all across the country — Texas\, New York\, Florida\, Georgia\, Pennsylvania\, and even Canada\, to name a few. Expect friendly and welcoming people\, but also a variety of campground locations and low costs. The cost for the entire week is only $425 per person and includes three catered meals each day (supper only on the first day and breakfast only on the last day)\, your campsite\, a stall/pen\, five days of guided rides\, and nightly entertainment. They can keep the cost low because the Sheltowee Trail Ride is a non-profit\, (501(c)(3) organization with a focus on promoting trail riding over making a profit. To ensure a safe and enjoyable week for all participants and their horses\, a trail boss\, several scouts\, a physician\, a veterinarian\, a farrier\, a camp manager\, and the ride manager will be onsite all week. \nDetails for this ride are available at Sheltowee Trail Ride | Sheltowee Trail Ride. \n*Reservations for this event must be made through the Sheltowee Trail Ride (see website above); the campground cannot make reservations for this event. \nAbout the Ride:\nWHAT: Week long\, guided trail ride (all one group\, travels at a QH pace) \nWHEN: September 29 – October 5\, 2024 \nWHERE: Mammoth Cave Horse Camp \nWHO: Everyone! Open to all breeds & types of equines at least 4 years old.
