Welcome to Edmonson County: Fun Activities.

Rides on the small railroad at Park Mammoth Resort are fun for the family.

Edmonson County offers a wealth of fun activities, festivals and special events for the entire family. In April, enjoy Springfest at Mammoth Cave National Park. In June, enjoy the Edmonson County 5k Race, the 4-H Rally Day and Spring Horse Show. In May there is the American Cancer Society Relay for Life & Chamber Business Expo. Mammoth Cave National Park offers a summer concert series and the Floyd Collins Outdoor Drama opens the last weekend in June and runs through the first weekend in September. Performances are on Friday and Saturday evenings at nightfall in the Brownsville City Park.
In September, the Edmonson County Fair is the longest running fair in Kentucky. And there's Old Timers Day at the Bee Spring community. The Cave Country Arts & Crafts Festival is the last Saturday in September on Brownsville Town Square. In spring and again in fall, is the Edmonson County Gospel Singing Convention featuring various artists and inductees to the Hall of Fame. The beauty of autumn can be enjoyed at "Colorfall" events in Mammoth Cave National Park. In December is our annual Christmas Parade and Holiday Decorating Contest.
